The Emerald Lawn Care Programme is designed for homeowners looking to achieve the highest standard of lawn health, colour and overall turf performance throughout the year.
Alongside five seasonal lawn treatments, the Emerald programme includes annual scarification and aeration services to help improve lawn density, reduce moss build-up and encourage stronger, healthier grass growth across the growing season.
FREE over-seeding is also carried out following scarification to help improve lawn thickness and support re-establishment in thinner or worn areas. Recovery+ and Hydrate+ specialist turf support treatments are included throughout the year where beneficial to support lawn recovery, resilience and overall turf performance.
Scarification and aeration services are included within the Emerald Lawn Care Programme and carried out annually as part of the wider programme approach.
Seasonal lawn treatments are provided on a Pay-As-You-Go basis, with a fixed per-treatment price calculated per 10m² and applied consistently throughout the season, with no contracts or long-term commitments required.

Used throughout the SHM Lawn Care programme following scarification and lawn renovation work, Recovery+ is a specialist bio-active turf tonic designed to support healthier recovery, stronger re-establishment and improved turf development during recovery periods.
Used during periods of drought, heat and environmental stress as part of the wider SHM Lawn Care approach, Hydrate+ is a specialist summer turf tonic designed to support moisture efficiency, turf resilience and healthier lawn performance during warmer conditions.

You can typically expect to see improvements in your lawn within 3 to 7 days, depending on factors such as the time of year and weather conditions. Warmer temperatures and adequate moisture often accelerate the results, bringing your lawn back to life in no time.
Not at all! Most of my customers are out when I visit, and I make it simple and convenient for you. I’ll send you a reminder the night before so you can ensure any gates are left open, or you can arrange to leave a key in a secure location known only to me.
If you’d prefer to be home during the treatment, just let me know, and I’ll do my best to work around your schedule. Your convenience is my priority!
In most cases, watering your lawn after treatment isn’t necessary. However, during prolonged dry spells, I may recommend watering to ensure your lawn gets the full benefit of the treatment.
I’ll provide plenty of guidance on the best watering practices to maximize results and tips on conserving water while keeping your lawn healthy.
For the best results, I recommend avoiding mowing your lawn for three days before and three days after any treatment. This allows the products to fully penetrate and work their magic.
While both are important, the post-treatment waiting period is especially crucial to ensure the treatment has enough time to take effect.
Yes, I offer fortnightly lawn mowing throughout the growing season. If you’d like to include this service alongside one of my lawn care programmes, simply mention it when requesting a quote or select the lawn mowing service in addition to your chosen programme.
